Inktober 2025 Day 10: Sweep. Doctor Dusty Dander was a leading Dirt-ologist on the brink of curing a terrible disease, thanks to an irreplaceable soil sample found in the Amazon rainforest. He would be saving thousands of lives… including that of his beloved fiancé, Sandy Soot.

I really liked the pro-trans message in the new KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN but otherwise it's a bland Broadway retelling of Hector Babenco's masterpiece, lacking the docu-style immediacy and exoticness, Diego, newcomer Tonatiuh and Lopez a poor sub for Julia, Hurt and Sonia Braga.

They sold ROOFMAN as a fun romantic crime comedy but Derek Cianfrance, instead, offers up a sad, true-to-life character drama, Tatum and Dunst's authenticity makes it emotionally rewarding. I enjoyed the film immensely but it's a downer so set your expectations accordingly.

Had such a great time watching TRON: ARES, I want to savor the experience. So, instead of seeing it again right away, I will be watching ROOFMAN.
