This is poor “journalism” and general fear mongering at its best. To be clear: this is designed to protect users assets. It puts crypto on par with equities and other securities (which also have the same 3 year timeline). People and estates can claim it back from the state.

Ok so @XcelEnergyCO has a government sanctioned monopoly to provide us our power. It pays their execs tens of millions of dollars per year but does not pay to bury power lines. Then turns off our power for days at a time because its infrastructure can’t handle the weather. Sweet.
