Our commitment to protecting our communities from wildfire risks remains strong. Yesterday, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission verbally approved our Wildfire Mitigation Plan. Learn how we’ll improve our system and prevent the spread of wildfires:

Our crews worked through the night to repair the natural gas system in the Silverthorne area, which is now fully restored. We appreciate your commitment to reducing natural gas usage overnight, and all customers may now return to regular activities and usage.

If you do not have a space heater available, a limited number are available at the Silverthorne Recreation Center until 9 pm. We expect permanent repairs to be made and service to be restored within the next 24 hours.

To help, limit your use of natural gas appliances like ranges, fireplaces, water heaters, and furnaces. Lowering the activation temperature on your thermostat or using an electric space heater are also good ways to curtail usage.

Due to third-party damage, the natural gas system in the Silverthorne area has been impacted. While there are currently no gas outages, we’re asking customers to limit their use of gas over the next 24 hours until repairs to the system can be made.
