Total nostalgia trip this week! This is my take on a classic of close-up magic, the dice change illusion. This is my entry for the Makerworld Magic Trick design contest. 🎩.

If you happen to be on Makerworld, this is my design of a Bagnold Solar Compass, and it's my entry into the current Hiking Gadget design contest. I also built an app to go with it to work out the azimuth tables for anywhere and any time on Earth. 🤓.

This does look kinda scary - but it was done in a very controlled environment. This is why we have firewalls! It shows that good security is a must. Oh, and seriously, don’t download random drivers / apps from unknown locations. there is a good chance they’ll be compromised too.

Quite likely the most insanely complex model I’ve ever 3D printed. The ‘revolver’ fidget gears by @GmanProjects .One piece print in place, came out perfectly on the @BambulabGlobal P1S 🤩.

I’ve had fun today using dangerously poorly maintained Bolt scooters. Three of them. #1 Steering attached by little more than hope. #2 Flat tyre. That I didn’t notice until it threw me off on the first corner. #3 Kick stand so stiff, it jammed and bit me. Bravo @boltapp 👏👏
