I tried initially, but after doing research in the nature of traditional publications and how I would still need to invest my own money and do my own marketing, I might as well do it myself from the ground up. The illogic bureaucracy of it all was the nail in the coffin.
Did you try traditional publishing first? . If so, what was the moment that made you decide to self-publish?.

It's the only way! Instead of days, I have months where it's like pulling teeth! But gotta keep writing.
Some days the words pour out of me like ink spilling from a busted pen. Other days, I have to drag them, like a kid kicking and screaming, onto the page. Either way, I just keep writing.

And do all your own marketing, even if you are trad publishing! lol It's rough out here lol.
Being an author is an impossible thing. You need to simultaneously not care at all what anyone else thinks of your work while also kinda caring a lot about what everyone else thinks of your work.

I tried outlining but it just didn’t work for me. Writing as I go works great! Discovering the story is a part of my process.
Can outlining limit creativity or does it provide a necessary framework?.

Having ai write your stories is wrong . Now, using ai as a faster and better encyclopedia, is fine in my book.
I see a lot of talk with AI around creators recently. I was sitting in my business class this morning and a thought came to me… while we can shun AI all we want (and I don’t), AI is here to stay. We can either incorporate it and make our products better, or we can shun it and be.
