I see a lot of talk with AI around creators recently. I was sitting in my business class this morning and a thought came to me… while we can shun AI all we want (and I don’t), AI is here to stay. We can either incorporate it and make our products better, or we can shun it and be.

When planning your books, do you decompose things into its lowest form before writing so you know each and every step? Or do you make a basic outline and just let it go?.

Sorry, I don’t agree with this take. AI is just another tool. You don’t learn calligraphy anymore to write by hand do you? No, you use a computer. And before then, you used a type writer. No, don’t use AI to do all the heavy lifting, but having it be a virtual assistant is.
No writer should be using AI to write their book. Not to “help.”.Not to “speed things up.”.Not for anything. If you call yourself a writer, write with your own hands. Or don’t call it your story.
