Despite shutting down last year, I still receive messages via their platform from potential buyers in response to old negotiations. @GoDaddy. I have no way to respond to these now. That's one reason why it is important to own your leads.

This is a follow-up from @GoDaddy broker regarding the previous "offer". Merely expressing interest in a domain is not an offer. First email. No offer. Follow-up email. No offer. It's not an offer if there is nothing to accept, counter, or reject.
I am not a big fan of these @GoDaddy broker "offers" that have no actual offer attached. My response -. "If your client has a serious interest, I would consider a serious offer." π

RT @DInvesting: I shared some thoughts about automated domain name appraisals using AI and ML:.
domaininvesting.com
Understand the limitations of a domain name appraisal, why investors value them and buyers donβt, and why a domain value is ultimately set by the market.

I sold the domain via @Afternic. The buyer is a company called Intra Management Solutions. Going from to is a nice domain upgrade.

This company really believes they own the generic term "Voices". π€¦ββοΈ. This is what happens when a sense of entitlement + stupidity meet each other. The complainant also tried to use a @GoDaddy appraisal ($1,005) as evidence of bad faith. Nice win. @Berryhillj. @IgorGabrielan

This is regarding a domain I have owned since 2014. It's in my @GoDaddy account now. It is not listed in my @afternic account. If it was, it was not priced. Bill said the domain was not in his Afternic account. What path did this "sale" come from?. @jamesiles.
Just got an email from @Afternic saying that I sold a domain. There's only a few issues:. - It's a 4-character dot com domain. The buyer paid $725. - I don't have the domain listed in my Afternic account. Did I mention that I haven't owned that domain since 2014?

I sold the domain for $4,900 via @Afternic. Two word .COM are my best performing format. I especially like branding term + keyword. They are great options for typical end users, that don't have a massive budget.

Chasing future trends in the domain field can be an expensive lesson. For every one field that pans out, like crypto, many others don't. @NamePros is littered with showcase threads of failed trends. The vast majority of the domains that are good now were good 20+ years ago.
