Rosy Marsh Moth is a very rare species, only found in a handful of sites in the UK. Last night we tried a site deep in Wales and were pleasantly surprised to trap over 30 individuals of this pinky-hued noctuid, an under-stated beauty of a moth.

Just got back this morning at 4:30 am from some mobile trapping on chalk downland (160+) and was very pleased to find this Dark Crimson Underwing on the wall under my kitchen window. I think this is the fourth garden record. Dartford VC16.
