The trick to turning chaos to clarity? Understanding what job you hired each app to do and how it facilitates the free flow of information in (and out) of your PKM system. Here’s a simple frame work to help you make more of your notes & ideas. 👇🏼🧵.

One of my favourite Dave Chappelle clips, on "The Secret". On one side of the equation we have people manifesting their destiny through the law of attraction, and on the other side, children starving to death.

Starting a thread on the paradoxes of being. Because on some level I'm wanting (starting?) to believe that everything is perfect, despite the fact that everything seems f'd.

Reminds me of something someone who had endured a lot of suffering in her life once said to me:. "Everything is God. Suffering is God forgetting itself, and hurting itself.".

Whoa. Good thing to be grateful for. Esp. considering a recent concussion which has kept me out of work for the better part of the last month. Count your blessings.

Skeptical of the Mankind Project weekend. (1 September 2023 journal entry). The negative feelings that come up, the mistrust of men. I don't want to get roped into any organization. There's this pattern of wanting some external person or organization to help me, and I just don't.

Case 1: Dario is knocked by time. (Attempt at a Zen Koan in Blue Cliff Record style, 11 May 2023). Main Case.Dario's ticking timepiece knocks him over the head again. The hour hand ticks over as the minutes chase it once more. He rushes to fill the gaps left in its wake, only to.

What am I certain of? (sort-of, maybe). (Journal entry 16th April 2024). I'm certain that there's something greater that I am a part of, that I am a player in a game much larger than myself that is unfolding. I know that I have some part to play, even though it may seem.

It seems like X has died as a marketing channel, but if anyone who follows me is still interested in @logseq Mastery or Unlock @tana_inc , there's a 20% off easter egg 🐰. Just use the code EASTER20 (valid until April 30th).

You have to see the world for what it is, in all its brutality, and you need to do this while keeping your heart soft before the beauty that makes it all worthwhile.

When Alan Watts starts talking about "social media", that's a red flag. Do you have no pride in your AI slop?

I don't consider myself to be woke (perhaps I'm in my own echo chamber so who knows). But this got under my skin. This explicit division seems unnecessary.

Lots of truth in this. Most people will keep bumbling along with whatever systems they have because there's just not enough pain forcing them to change. I think it's the people who have the highest sensitivity to pain who end up adopting new tools.
