I don’t know how to fix the industry…Im absolutely all for the 17% rise but the narrative of “rich producers” sits uneasy with me it shouldn’t be a “them v us” as most producers I know do their best to pay fairly. It’s not enough. 100% But how can we balance risk… 1/2

Most producers, in my experience, really care about their cast and crew and genuinely love what they do. They’re creatives with vision and passion. Sadly there’s always a few bad eggs… but people saying a producer is simply “the money” is entirely misinformed and misguided.
