“Taste” is still just an opinion. That’s the problem.

We use to only have 2 undos available, no auto layout, no components, no art boards, one design per file, buttons were made of 100s of unnamed layers. And we still made incredible designs just as fast without mentioning taste or craft in every sentence.

Words overly used lose their meaning quickly. In design, these words mean nothing anymore because people just sling them around: craft, taste, slop I suggest removing from your vocabulary for now.

The problem is that you're still chasing cheap follows + engagement as your metric of success. Of course you're not improving. The successful ones are chasing skill growth, clients, real relationships, investments, and freedom which lead to real followers + engagement.
