The most clever of titles. Hats off to the wonderful Dr. @kongalan96 and his paper on glaucoma. Coming to a high school reading list near you.
The Catcher in the Eye? It's not a JD Salinger typo! Check out one of my last papers from @UCSFMedicine entitled, The Catcher in the Eye: Stem Cells as a Therapeutic for Glaucoma. @AAOjournal #UCSFOphthalmology

Learned a new word today: “migraineurs.” Fantastic article published by the amazing @erickidongkim. That’s an ENT doctor in the making!
Migraineurs have an earlier age of BPPV onset than those without migraine. https://t.co/b2Av7cjOrq

Overall survival at 12 months at 67.2% (atezo+beva) vs 54.6% (#sorafenib) for #livercancer--the first therapy to improve survival since FDA approval of sorafenib 12 years ago. Enough for the important people in life to attend a graduation, a wedding, their first grandchild.
A very exciting study was just published in @NEJM showing that in patients with unresectable #HCC, a new treatment combination (#atezolizumab+#bevacizumab) resulted in better overall and progression-free survival than the current treatment #sorafenib! https://t.co/LwJA0RFnCf
