I’m sorry but aerobic conditioning is a necessity for a winning program. I’ve played for winning programs and losing programs. I bet you can guess which one conditioned more.
From a HS 🏈 coach:. I decided to actually study one of our senior football players on film. I broke down all 10 football games and charted the number of plays that he was on the field defensively throughout a game, and I also timed each play (snap to whistle) in which he was.

@fbcoachsimpson Running over agility bags/footwork camp drills are not effective for evaluating football players, are not rooted in actual football play, and are the biggest waste of time ever perpetuated. We are still doing them because your coach’s coach’s coach use to do them.
