Strike action disrupting your life is not the fault of the workers or the unions - it is the fault of the businesses/government choosing profit over people (which in turn works against economic growth)! Be annoyed at the strikes, but be annoyed with the right people!

Little window into life as a working parent in the summer hols. Partner left for work at 6.30am. I got up at 6.30 and started working. Worked for 2 hours. Kids get up. Feed them etc. speech therapy for little one at 10.30. Taking us all swimming at 12.30. Home by 2. More work…

In rehearsal, few weeks ago, I caught COVID from a colleague who admitted he thought he had it (!) Cancelled shows, continuing breathing issues etc. Today, contrast liquid pumped into my veins, then CT scan. F***ing obvs, but please don't come to rehearsal if you feel sick !!!!
