& was surprised when I scoffed at her offer to read it. Having grown up next to a neighbour who had a NYT subscription, it was painful but essential to wean myself off the NYT in the Trump years
Maybe Biden or Harris will look much more formidable a year from now than they do today. But the refusal of so many party insiders to contemplate other options for 2024, even with things looking as they do now, says so much about Dems’ love of hierarchy and resistance to change.
