GIBSIDE (SEN) handover today! Delivered on SCAPE Framework and despite covid, truly AMAZING achievements: 89% Local labour (9.4% Gateshead) & 95% Local spend (within 40 miles); 22 work experience opportunities; 23 educational visits and 224 engaged in employability workshops.

We had so many plans to work with Wates during our new build but COVID stopped them. They have continued to support us and after a collection from the site team they delivered goodies for the children and a substantial cash donation (over £230)to us today. Thank you! @WatesGroup

Great response to our food bank collection held at our @WatesGroup Gibside SEN project this week. 8 bags of food and essentials delivered to @GFoodbank this morning. Hopefully this will help somebody in need at this particularly difficult time. Well done to all who contributed.

Thanks to Judith and Adele from @GibsideSchool for the on site educational session on Special Education Needs delivered to our site team and supply chain yesterday, which gave us an insight into the school and their kids, ahead of weekly school site visits commencing this Friday
