Just now -- acclaimed British surgeon testifies to #UK Parliament, detailing how #IDF "quadcopters" would arrive at the scene of airstrikes in #Gaza & "pick-off" / "shoot" the injured, including children.

How did the Foreign Office manage to spend £4,333.30 on two trips to the hairdresser? Why has their spending via government procurement cards shot up 45% since last September? And why won’t they answer these and dozens more related questions? Read all about it in my letter:

👀 Kwasi Kwarteng's Wikipedia page has been edited to remove all references to his role in the Owen Paterson scandal. The IP address of the user who changed the page... corresponds to the House of Commons network. Kwarteng is widely expected to be Chancellor under Liz Truss.

🧵 In Carnforth, Lancashire, you can find a gated business park, 21 Ltd companies are registered at this park. There is a church AKA as a meeting room. This is a modern day operation for the sect known as the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church. @fascinatorfun

One pretty cool geological fun fact is that the Scottish Highlands, the Appalachians, and the Atlas are the same mountain range, once connected as the Central Pangean Mountains [read more: https://t.co/u9taoxLu3O]

It's so daft. Brussels, lawyers, France, 'wokeness', red tape, BLM, 'diversity training', National Trust. Confected enemy after confected enemy after confected enemy. All to keep the anger bubbling & distract from the fact that these people have been in charge for *twelve* years.

I’ve seen a confidential document from Lynton Crosby’s lobbying firm which advises Boris Johnson to ride roughshod over every convention and standard of propriety to pack the House of Lords. [Thread] https://t.co/iB23JdHqpJ

The honours system is rife with abuse and a paper by Lynton Crosby’s firm suggesting ‘rewards’ for compliant peers proves it, says former prime minister Gordon Brown

I hope a Labour govt won't be this blind to the normal people going about their lives in the backdrop of this utter arse-licking, backstabbing, pole-climbing nonsense that is going on. Disillusioned doesn't even scratch the surface... #ToryLeadershipContest #ToryShambles

In Germany commuters can now buy a monthly travel ticket for trains, buses & trams for €9 (£7.70), through Deutsche Bahn - their publicly owned railway company. Germans can travel their country, every day, for just a few quid. Our privatised system is a disaster by comparison.
