Underrated point. Without strong disincentives, we will lose our high trust communities and fall victim to the tragedy of the commons.
Joke aside, the real lesson from Soham is we as an industry ought to do way more public shaming.I personally know 4 people(!) who got scammed by him.We'd have gone for another month if it wasn't for @Suhail.So: I will now post publicly when I'm screwed over by someone in a way.

It's true.
Right now, SWE interns are the only long running background agents that I can give instructions through slack and get results and see progress on a project. Quite magical.
