finally!! taking my first baby steps!! first few pages inked for my graphic novel 🥹🏈

Lately, I've been wondering what my personal measure of success looks like. This manga gave me a lot to think about. Grateful to finish reading this story with so many introspective feelings and to feel fired up for my next project!!! 🔥.

It made me want to work harder in my craft and storytelling, and includes some meaningful practices on how to hone your personal voice. It's easy to create and to be entertaining. But what does it mean to create art that is infused with every fiber of your being? --.

I read this amazing manga "Kunigei" about creative passion and rivalry on MangaPlus! If you're a creator, it asks the brutal questions "Why do you create?" "What substance does your work have?" I felt like an art student again, receiving critique alongside MC. --.

lrt I love Akiko Higashimura's manga, I love her autobio series Blank Canvas, and am so excited for the live action movie adaptation AHH!! it's moving to see this photo of her proudly on set 🥹🥹.
