Time flies!! Tomorrow the #CV4Ecology2023 cohort present their projects after 3 weeks of hard work. It's been amazing to see how much these committed, passionate scientists have learned in the last few weeks, and we're so excited to see where these projects go in the future!

Thrilled to share my first hierarchical model version! π In the image, a red deer was initially labeled as fallow deer but didn't quite meet the score threshold. It confidently ascended to the "cervid" category, gaining certainty. A leap forward in classification accuracy!π¦π

This morning, we're hunting π through #Yolov8 to gain intuition on navigating open source codebases, see common structures (i.e. folder structures, configs, preprocessing, evaluation), and see what would need to be tweaked to adapt to our data!
