Unfortunately, language is messy and this is the kind of mistake that’s easy to make. The simple fact is that nobody’s permission is necessary to run a relay node—or any kind of node—on Algorand.

This is true for PoW but is partially true for PoS. In PoS the conjunction of tokens (staked) and nodes (running a software) is needed. So for PoS, I would correct the first sentence with "...tokens not participating in consensus..."

We are going to witness a wave of AI awakening of dormant bugs, across many tech stacks. The exploits in crypto will happen first (or make more noise), especially for smart contract based assets (not L1 native), just because the monetization is immediate.
