The problem is that lowering the eyebrows is a specific expression, and just like human eyes, it doesn't happen all the time with the eyes closed

just so you have a better reference on what i mean
okay a bit unorthodox to bring this up randomly, but I feel as if the only case in which i'm fine with main eggman having red eyes would be like, if it was neo metal disguising himself and the eyes acted as some kind of dead giveaway.
