Counting how much I would’ve made if I didn’t sell early and held. Does absolutely nothing outside of fucking with your own head. I think I’ve missed like 5 100x this season alone and I couldn’t care less. There is always another opportunity.

Complacency usually comes after a massive blow-off top followed by a rapid sell-off that marks the end of the cycle

4. Speculation is king
Crypto goes up because people speculate on its value, rarely because it provides any. Once the hype dies down so does the potential profits, that’s why new coins tend to perform much better.
Don’t ask „is it good?” – ask „will it pump?” instead

I used to hold 25+ bags and while that worked well for my FOMO, it was ineffective. The market moves in waves so there is no point in holding 10 coins instead of picking 2 that show slightly more strength.

Based on $BTC's past performance, which allowed to predict an uber bullish Q4 in '20, I say we have a small blow-off top in Feb and shake the new guys out in March before resuming the pumps later in Q2

2. Not paying myself regularly
Even if I don’t need it (or don’t want to) I have never regretted withdrawing some money every 2 or 3 weeks. It’s the work that I do for my future self that won’t be as euphoric and well-positioned as the current me in the middle of a bull market.

3 tips if you are just starting:
- Don't use leverage. Alts are volatile enough and if you can't make profit with spot, you for sure won't do it with leverage
- Limit your exposure to coin's communities. Bag attachment bias will kill your gains

5. Having full exposure to crypto
This comes down basically to tracking and keeping my portfolio in USD instead of BTC.
Less profits? Yea but it removes the need to be constantly aware of the market conditions. I trade when I want and I always have some profits secured.

If I were to bet I would say we are at late 2-2 when it comes to $BTC
One more major leg up across the board would fit nicely with ALT/BTC pairs reversing and running (some call it alt season)
After that I will reevaluate if it's time to further reduce exposure from the market

2/2 Coins can do 100x during their cycle – why try to risk losing that early entry for additional 20% profit by selling and entering lower? Take some profit instead – if you want you can always reenter with it. Trading can be easy, it’s you that is making it hard.

When a new trend starts, they can often look overextended after a pump but it's insignificant to the large picture. They often correct and recover quicker than you can react.

I've created an updated table of $BTC historical performance during each month from 2013 until now.
November is consistently one of the more volatile and profitable months. This would fit well with us finally breaking from that 11k consolidation into a strong EOY.
