CEL is very excited to team up with TIG to launch a challenge to evaluate and incentivise breakthrough algorithmic zk innovation and optimisation.

Reducing constraint size in arithmetic circuits can mean faster witness calculation, faster proofs, lower hardware demands, and potentially real-time verifiability.

ZK is already tremendously shaping rollups, DeFi, AI, and compliance technology, but witness generation can take minutes or hours when user applications need essentially sub-second responses.

ZK witness generation is too slow. To tackle this we are collaborating on a new TIG Challenge: slash ZK witness generation times by optimising arithmetic circuit constraints.
