Well made points that stamp duties and transaction taxes are bad for a country’s financial markets and stifle economic growth. This, plus pension reform to bring domestic savings back into UK stocks, and supporting strong capital markets can turn the tide. @MerrynSW
If the Government is serious about delivering growth, we need tax reform. Today, I'm covering stamp duty on shares. And the reform we need for stamp duty is very simple: abolish it. A Boston tea party of our own.
