This all depends on how RLCS defines permanent residency. If strict, players need long-term visas (harder to get), but orgs could help (players still need to move). If not strict, teams could move for a split/season and still be eligible (like CRL imports or past APAC teams).

Seeing a lot of confusion about the new 2/3 roster rule. RLCS says 2/3 players must be eligible through citizenship (passport) OR "permanent" legal residency. CRL imports could qualify, and backed orgs like Twisted Minds, VP, and FUT may be able to secure this for players:

Seems like time and time again we see leaders stuck in their ways and unwilling to be open minded about changes that'll be inevitable. Really unfortunate Canada has to miss out again.
