no it didn't. it came from liberal Jews. the pro-Israel politics were just an incongruent part that didn't fit with their domestic politics.
The idea of having an elite class whose job is to interpret tropes, words, symbols, etc, and tell us which are racist comes from the pro Israel movement. Many liberals and leftists copied this but shouldn't and should instead represent universal values.
