The approach to BLACK PHONE 2 seems to have been, "Let's Freddy Krueger this shit," and I'm thinking the instincts were correct on that approach. Ethan Hawke's Grabber was a great villain in the first movie and this feels like a level up to franchise slasher status. Very into it.
