Controlling the impulse to raise your hands ⬆️ to protect yourself is the most important aspect of working below the baseball. The fake feeds in this drill are a great way to desensitize this movement and eliminate glove lift prior to catch. Great stuff @dallascorrea 🤙
Line Dancing Drill 1. 6 ball feed, random L or R release 2. C, creates a line, slides thumb along line 3. Once thumb reaches outside of knee, ball is released 4. C works out to in, wins 2 balls outside of knee #1 and #3 here is a great example, #2 shows a late/stab receive

Fight for every strike, don't have to be perfect! Continuity of movement & consistency are 🔑
In 2021 Max Stassi had some of the best receiving metrics in MLB. Here he converts a low BB into a strike. He doesn’t catch it perfectly clean but still gets the job done. It reinforces the fact that you don’t have to be perfect to get results.
