A6: I want to recommit myself to building and maintaining positive relationships/communication with S families. Now that we are halfway through the year I want to redouble my efforts to share celebrations & learning with Ss support systems #novaedchat

A5: I loved what @oldbay84 shared about reframing the perspective we are using to think about our relationships with Ss & the class environment. Reflecting on our own perspectives and their effects on Ss is a powerful tool build & maintain relationships #NoVAEdChat

A4: Ss! A terrible feeling year of school for a S can change the trajectory of their school career & the way they perceive themselves/their abilities. Not to mention, trying to manage a class full of Ss you have no/negative relationships with would not be a fun year… #novaedchat

A3: Ss need timely feedback from Ts as they work toward classroom goals, but timely S feedback to teachers grows trust, S ownership of learning, & welcoming classroom environments. Ss often know what they need to succeed, Ts can learn a lot from listening #novaedchat

Q2: Having Ss teach YOU something is really powerful. Even the most hard-to-reach S has something they get excited about. Ask them about their favorite computer game or how to draw something. Not only do they leap at the chance, your relationships will progress/grow #novaedchat
