.@councillorallan: The destructive Green/Labor Coalition of Chaos has opposed close to 30,000 homes and, despite a housing crisis, continues to oppose new homes in Brisbane. They're even willing to punish the very industry that would deliver more homes. #qt #bnepol

Unlike southern cities, in Brisbane buses do 2/3rd’s of the public transport task. Despite this, the bus network faces chronic underinvestment by state government in favour of trains. A shame because we can solve many problems of our city with better bus access. @RACQOfficial

Dear Minister Scanlon, a great place to start would be to ask your Labor colleagues in Council and their Greens Party pal to stop opposing housing, including 10,000 new homes in South Brisbane’s Kurilpa precinct.

BREAKING: The destructive Green/Labor alliance refused to support up to 3,800 new homes in today's Council meeting. Last week they voted against 10,000 new homes in South Brisbane's Kurilpa Precinct. All in the middle of a housing crisis. Apalling!

You previously dismissed and voted against 14 neighbourhood plans and thousands of new homes right across Brisbane. Now you're complaining Brisbane needs more housing! Which is it - or are you having a dollar each way on Melbourne Cup Day?

Attacking a plan before it's even ready for final consultation shows Labor councillors are hellbent on playing politics rather than helping people find homes.

In the midst of a housing shortage, Cr Griffiths and his Labor colleagues have been caught out spreading misinformation and fear against development. The draft Nathan, Salisbury & Moorooka Neighbourhood Plan can help provide new homes at a time when it’s desperately needed.

In 2011, the State Government’s attitude was to help people get back on their feet as quickly as possible and review land valuations. In 2022, the State Government wants to whack thousands of flood victims with a tax based on dodgy, out-of-date valuations.

Cr Murphy: #BrisbaneMetro impressed the people of Brisbane and impressed IOC delegates. It will cover a larger network than stages 1 & 2 of the Gold Coast Light Rail, be larger than 80% of Melbourne’s tram fleet and will be supercharged in under 6mins. #Brisbane2032 #qt #bnepol
