I left my “head of SEO” role in 2013 because I was afraid SEO was dying. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Ten years later, apparently, it still is. My advice is to keep your head down, and focus on continuously building value for clients. These takes are absolute noise.
I predict that over 25% of digital marketing agencies will go out of business in the next 12-18 months... Over 50% for SEO agencies.
