@gldivittorio Almost everything in the world can be blamed by Britain (old capitalism) or Ronald Reagan (new capitalism) or both.

The best part about Caribana weekend is the dozens of people setting up stalls for food, drink, and random knick-knacks in front of their house or down in the park. We love community entrepreneurship (and it should be enough of a reason for the city to permit more of it) #TOpoli.

I love how 90% of the Ford government is them committing waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. then there's Dave, slowly making a bunch of small but great changes over at Labour.
Weβre ending the era of job candidates being left in the dark. Starting January 1, 2026, employers in Ontario must respond to candidates within 45 days of an interview and disclose if AI was used in the hiring process. This is about restoring fairness, transparency, and respect.

Is it bad that I like it. Rose Garden is for press conferences, reporters are showing up in heels and dress shoes to sit on folding chairs, mud shouldn't be part of the plan.
Trumpβs Rose Garden patio is complete. The drainage grates are in the shapes of American flags and thereβs a Presidential Seal in all four corners. Amazing job. πΊπΈ

There is a giant music event happening at Allan Lamport Stadium in Liberty Village but I can't seem to find it on the City of Toronto website, the news, Instagram. Seems like its for Caribana but not on their website either #TOpoli

If you haven't watched the Battle River β Crowfoot candidate's forum, I suggest you should. The audience feels like an episode of Jerry Springer, half the candidates are bullying Poilievre, it's wild. #cdnpoli.

Over the next few years, this will be the default position and people will pretend they were always here. The same revisionism happened with Iraq when everyone realized the WMD thing was fake.
There has to be a total mindset change in the Democratic party. When the war ends, we are not going back to the pre-October 7 status quo.

Reminder:. The PC incumbent who ran against bike lanes lost her seat this year.
#BREAKING - The Ford government says it will be appealing this decision. βWe were elected by the people of Ontario with a clear mandate to restore lanes of traffic and get drivers moving by moving bike lanes off of major roadsβ.

Pretty obvious that the CPC has sent a giant team of staffers out there to run that campaign + bussed in audience members. no one gets this excited at a Chamber of Commerce debate lol.
Pierre Poilievre delivers his opening remarks and he makes the other candidates look like total AMATEURS. Mark my words, Pierre is winning this by-election with over 85% of the vote.
