Baseball stat that doesn’t make sense to me: Scherzer goes 7 scoreless. Comes out in a 0-0 game. May comes in & gives up 2 runs in the 8th. Mets score 5 the following inning & May gets the W. I feel like Scherzer should get the W…even if May had pitched a scoreless 8th.

Excited and honored to announce that I will be moving to Beaumont to be part of @LamarAthletics as their new Athletic Sports Information Specialist. I will miss @GoETBUTigers and the fun memories we had. But I can’t wait to get started at Lamar.

I really don’t understand why there’s even a discussion. What was Kiermaier supposed to do? Walk over to the Toronto dugout and return the scouting report? This is 100% on the catcher.
