It was just an idea to improve working with SQL using a modern stack and approach to interfaces with the addition of AI. And we are very happy that so many people responded to it. The new year will be amazing. We have so many plans that you can't even imagine. Thank you all π«‘

Guys, we're so busy with the new cool release that we forgot about our birthday! The first commit was on November 29, 2024. Since then, we already have more than 1800 users and incredible motivation to ship even more features! Looking forward to new features!

We are looking for sponsors like Theo. We would be incredibly grateful for any help!
I helped over 60 companies reach millions of developers in 2025. The results were insane. Some companies saw 300% increases in MRR. Others saw massive adoption from YC founders. All of them got tons of feedback and consulting from me and my team, helping them better understand

Don't think Drizzle are bad. We still use them in 2 parts of the project and will continue to use them. It's just that every task has its own tool.

Now compare the old version and the new one. Kysely has much more syntax for working with schemas and tables. And we were able to configure it to work the same way as Drizzle Proxy.

Moreover, we need to be able to use our own dialects if we need to add more databases. Drizzle supports many, but we need more. Therefore, Kysely suited us perfectly. It doesn't need to know about schemas, as it's just a query builder.

We used Drizzle in 3 places: - Working with Postgres on the server - Local-first with PGLite for sync data - Queries that users make to their databases The first two points work without any problems, but since we don't have schemas from our users, the query looked complicated.

We moved from @DrizzleORM to @kysely_ it was not an easy decision but we replaced internal queries with Kysely. Why? β¬οΈ
Version 0.24 is now available π What's new? - MySQL support! - Pinning tables - Labels and colors for connections And many small improvements π
