Sonic Frontiers was already doing a lot of this btw (some maimai alumni were on it!!!) and the cyberspace tracks were amazing. So further proof that if u got giga doing some original sonic music it’d cook.

I also get preference wise it’s a diff style for sonic, and giga’s remix of apotos day is probably far from his best, but like this just validates more than ever that we gotta get the performai team to make a sonic rhythm game because this shit would be fun af in a RG.

Bring these artists to more Sonic games and make em do more than just these remixes imo. It will actually be an awesome route for this series’ music to represent SEGA SOUND TEAM’s appreciation/legacy in the j-core scene.

I’m really fucking sad! They have like the most stacked set of artists doing stuff for this game and everyone is dunking hard on what was heard in this DJ mix thing which is hardly the full tracks. Even then it does feel like they didn’t play to these artists’ strengths.
