@RobertJenrick Wrong: Magna Carta is an English charter. It applied to the Kingdom of England (which historically included Wales). It was not a Scottish law—Scotland had (and still has) its own legal system. A separate version was issued for Ireland in 1216 (“Magna Carta Hiberniae”).
