I heard people are mad at Ledger, again. Seems to happen every couple of years. If you're still using Ledger in 2025 I don't have much hope for you, sorry. As I posted to the bitcoin stackexchange a couple years ago. use it at your own risk.

Received BTC as a payment from someone IRL and noticed they sent change back to their spending address. Being nosy I decided to look at the address they re-used only to notice their UTXO set is atrocious. Consolidate your UTXOs while fees are still 1 sat/byte or RIP friend.

Why do so few people understand how bitcoin keys work?. Seed phrases are a layer on top and a preference. A preference Bitcoin Core has avoided for many reasons related to weaker security. In the end if you're holding your keys instead of institutional paper BTC you'll make it.
Nice seed phrase you got there. Would be a shame if I influenced you to go seedless instead and lock you into my eco system so I can surveil, sell and share your personal data with government authorities and deny you service.
