.@NBCNews Maybe @Reddit CEO u/spez (Steve Huffman) should spend more time of @askhistorians. Here is a post I wrote about how medieval aristocracy works. Hope this helps. https://t.co/YpKGjZuPSD

Well this is a little embarrassing…. @audible_com @SGJ72 @StephenKing Love them both, but I was a little confused. “Didn’t ‘Holly’ JUST come out?” #audible #fail #horror #horrorauthorsnamedstephen

I didn’t realize I need permission from an apparently regressed feminist to study Medieval military strategy and the career of Richard I, and the application of chivalric culture to revolt. Sorry, I’ll go back to looking at cat photos, Joyce.
are there instances of women becoming obsessed with historic events? definitely a male preoccupation with certain phases of history (Civil War, Nazis, Hitler) & reenactments of battles. women may obsess over reading, music & dance, kitties, doggies, clothes, gardening, men.

Just got LOCKED OUT of my @Reddit account for supporting the protest on r/MildlyInteresting Same happened to the other mods I spent $5,000+ on Reddit's Collectible Avatars Reddit doesn't care, no message or notification whatsoever - this is not a ban, it's retaliation

It’s become a meme that the Reddit CEO was a mod of r/jailbait, and people have pointed out you used to be able to just add people as mods as a joke, but that really overlooks being the CEO of a company that hosts r/jailbait for a really long time, like that’s arguably worse.

It's been five days since the Reddit protests kicked off, and Reddit's efforts to play it cool are starting to look a little unconvincing... Since we have a constructive reputation to maintain though, today we'll focus on a different issue: Why does moderation matter? 🧵...

My contribution to today’s @askhistorians Floating Features on Revolts and Protest! Here I discuss the causes and consequences of the Revolt of 1173. Tl;Dr: Henry II played himself by failing to control his temper and ego. Sound familiar, no? https://t.co/N5cN6T95Q9

The act of revolt is common to the human experience & in the spirit of our current lockdown protesting Reddits planned actions, we are inviting #Twitterstorians to write about instances of revolt, rebellion, revolution & resistance. Key historical context! https://t.co/VVwa3Amnnc

However, if @redditspez spent some time on @askhistorians he would learn that Marie Antoinette never said that! https://t.co/DoBWkjpWxD

Good morning! Please join me in the Floating Feature on @askhistorians! Today’s topic is Revolts and Protests. After those messy interviews yesterday, @Reddit CEO Steve ‘@redditspez’ Huffman might find them a relaxing read. https://t.co/diqlgjk99x

.@redditspez If i do not receive what is owed, then you can expect the delivery of Magna Carta within 3-5 business days. You may also look forward to my posts regarding the Baron’s Revolt, probably hosted elsewhere.

.@redditspez Please let me know when I can expect to receive the formal charter confirming my authority. I hope you accept my taxes in the form of goods and livestock.

.@Reddit following your CEOs logic, if I am landed gentry, then he is the King and I am owed to the right to levy taxes and military protection from my enemies. I would appreciate my share of what the Kingdom is worth.

You may now resume reading, but we remain closed to new questions unless Reddit wants to sort themselves out.
It's Day 3, and a new dawn in our efforts to try to help Reddit run a business successfully (step one: point firearm away from foot...) Today, we'll be entering the second phase of our planned protest. But what does that mean? And why are we shifting gears? Read on... 🧵
