A lot of lame answers/ excuses for why marketers and product leaders are not talking to their customers enough in DTC. We all want to make our ads work better and have product expansion work. Lets get better at talking to the people we want to sell to.

We've been dealing with a ton of spam sites this year. These scammers are using AI to clone sites in a day and run Meta and Google ads to them. It's not my favorite thing to deal with. It usually gets worse around promo times, so I think Q4 is gonna be nasty for a lot of brands.

Seeing in our data that the last 2 months new checkouts across Recharge merchants is down 7% vs forecasted levels when comparing in August to October. Makes sense when you have 12% of the population impacted by government shutdown.
