one more thing, the performance boost is very real with this release, so i do recommend updating. there are two high level improvements made. previously there were some huge inefficiencies, and they've been all optimized. Here's an example:
In v5.0.0 you would often see this screen last for very long when you first launch the app, sometimes even lasting up to ~15 seconds. This has been optimized so you will now rarely see this, and even if you do, will take at most around 2 seconds.

Lastly, a minor feature, but important. v5.0.0 tried to make the UI too simple, and it even removed the app icon, and many people reported it's not easy to tell what app they're looking at, especially when the app is running in terminal mode. Now the app icon is shown always.

How the background mode works:
Pinokio Background Mode Pinokio 5 can now be launched as a background service. Just set the "background" mode from the settings page and restart. There will be no desktop app. Instead you use all apps like regular websites, in ANY browser (Chrome/Firefox/Brave/Safari/etc)
