No driver should be experiencing abuse. Lando had to delete all social media last year because his comments were so filled with abuse and death threats. Even joking/joining in on your own account allows others see the comments as appropriate/acceptable but they aren’t.

I don’t think fans should be claiming whether a team does or doesn’t like a driver based on the number of team members they can pick out in a crowd on tv. Or the number of people clapping in a garage. Or whatever else they’ll think of next.

The very obvious answer to the question was Oscar had to race Lando for the position, as had been the “rules” prior to Bahrain this season.

Just to be clear, it was an accident. Lando paid for the repairs/new one. He dedicated his helmet the following year to the artists who make the trophy. Spent time with the artists to learn more about the process. Auctioned the new helmet with all proceeds to charity in Hungary.
