This Afternoon at the Burley Lodge Estate getting the back streets swept and the gully’s cleaned. Huge thanks to the front line staff especially the locality and highways team for their hard work In our Ward and across Leeds.

It was great to attend community meeting at the 20 20 house. Looking forward to work with and campaign with this team to achieve their future goals. I am a passionate believer that local resident groups can make a massive difference in our society.

This evening at the Leeds Kabbadi Tournament. Thanks to Mr Bashir for being an active member on this field for many years, promoting cultural sport in our city. I also wish to thank my good friend Ch Saleem who got me involved in Kabaddi in the mid 90s.

I was delighted to visit UTM Studio in my ward. It was great to see facilities that the studio is providing to our youth in the city. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Yesterday afternoon, spent quality time with local residents in Lovell Park Estate and picked up a few casework. It’s always good to have positive feedback from my constituents.

This morning at the Little London family fun day planning meeting with parters and community representatives in the Little London Community Centre. The event will take place on Saturday 19th July, do please do join us .

This evening, I along with the Leeds Lord Mayor, Leader of the Leeds City Council and faith leaders attended the service to remember the Ahmadabad Plane crash victims at the Leeds Hindu Temple in Hyde Park Leeds.

This afternoon at the Woodhouse and Hyde Park Green Fair. It was great to see that the local community members were enjoying the event.

I was delighted to attend and speak at the Kuldeep’s retirement party. Kuldeep was a brilliant officer and worked for Leeds City Council for 31 years. She was a committed and dedicated officer who worked tirelessly in the communities.
