Racism always does harm. It doesn't matter what the intention was. Like all oppression, it doesn't require intent. People often aren't conscious of their racism. But it's there. And becoming aware of it is the first step. 1/6.

Anti-facist protests are not โ€œa wasteโ€ because the facists didnโ€™t show up. Youโ€™re not protesting for the facists. Youโ€™re protesting for the people who are immigrants, refugees, Muslim, Asian, Black, brown, queer.
