I’m settling in Sydney and staying here for the foreseeable future!. It feels like the start of a new life, somewhat exciting and very intimidating. I am afraid, but uprooting your life and starting from scratch is never easy.

We've entered an era where resumes are written by AI and read by AI. Emails get composed with one model and summarized by another. In the loop of machines talking to machines, don't lose sight of the one irreplaceable element: being human.

Some companies list both "Remote" and "Remote, US" roles then reject non-US applicants for the former, claiming it's US-only. If it's "Remote, US", label it that way. Don't waste our time with redundant forms already covered by our CVs.

Three weeks into replacing a ClickOps stack with IaC β€”Terraform, Ansible, Jinja for Compose β€” I've eventually realized I built a Kubernetes clone. Should've gone with k8s instead.

We had a great time at our team gathering last week as we brainstormed ideas for WebStorm in 2024 – all while trying not to get distracted by the sunny Cyprus vibes β˜€οΈ We can't tell you exactly how many code jokes were cracked, but it was fantastic meeting our global crew! ❀️

Although I couldn't attend @vercel's Next.js Conf 2023 in person, I'm thrilled to share that I made it onto one of @rauchg's keynote slides alongside the incredible folks I collaborate with to foster a vibrant React and Next.js community. πŸš€

We're planning to ship this feature in 2023.3. And, while we're on the topic of features for React Server Components, can you spot another small quality of life feature related to RSCs that will also be available in 2023.3? πŸ•΅οΈπŸ”Ž.

Which color should be the default for client components in our Light theme, orange or purple? (Regardless of the default, you will be able to fully customize the color yourself.).

🎨 I'm currently working on a cool feature for @WebStormIDE: highlighting client components with a dedicated color. Here are some screenshots from our internal build. We'd love to hear your opinion with a poll in the thread 🧡

Yesterday I got access to and promptly (pun intended) entered "The smartest JavaScript IDE". The result was @WebStormIDE. We're so back! πŸŽ‰. I might be biased here, but @rauchg your colleagues from the v0 team did a great job, kudos πŸ’ͺ

With Node 16 reaching EOL I decided to work on a small weekend project and it ended up becoming a literal single-page application. Proud to announce that is now a thing!.
