To let you converse in replies without risk of notification spamming your followers. To learn what types of tweets cause followers to disable tweet notifications; so that users blame themselves for losing exposure, not the nebulous spectre of political discrimination. @elonmusk
@elonmusk @ShefVaidya @Twitter @verified The options for receiving notifications from indiviual accounts should have granular toggles for: “Tweets” “Replies” “Retweets” Defaulting to “Tweets” only, without notifications for “Replies” or “Retweets” Users should see how many followers have their notifications enabled
