These are all mistakes made. ALL of it is wasteful spending. Again, HE SHOULD KNOW THIS. It'd probably be cheaper to tear it all down and fabricate/paint new panels in a factory. At that point they'll at least have a fucking warranty. Fuck all these people. /end.

4. Grinding down every inch of that goddamn fucking system will take serious man hours on foot, folks driving cherry pickers going up and down each panel, across the whole goddamn thing, ON BOTH SIDES. And then they've got to paint it soon after. ON BOTH SIDES. WASTE.

3. The clock started on 10-20 (?) year warranties as soon as each panel was installed. A complete redo on the surface treatment throws all that away, unless the same subs are going back & sanding + painting their own panels (lol). So yeah, we're on the hook for future repairs.

2. The wall's steel is "weathered". It's designed to protect itself by creating a patina. The entire goddamn wall has this patina now. In order to paint it, the patina must be removed (by sanding, sandblasting). Otherwise, the paint won't stick. (HE SHOULD KNOW ALL THIS).
