This is a picture of a picture of our group. I'm not a spiritual man in the way that I was taught but that's as close to heaven as I'll get in the game of golf. As I become old I appreciate these experiences more and more and I am envious of those who have them more than I do.

I love this picture. I put it in the ice plant and made six. I didn't care then, and I care less now. The number of people who get to make that 6 is vanishingly small. I use this picture on the back cover of my resume and it gets traction. People want to talk about it. FYI.

We walked a wonderful 18 holes that day and I have two pictures that I think on and look at often. The first is this one at the 17th tee. It is a reminder we should all embrace.

I don't have a picture of it but Jeff Markow, Cypress Point's superintendent, came to meet us on #8 I believe. He walked several holes with us and I remember him being gracious, kind, and funny. That tracks given everything I know about him from our industry friends.

I was wearing a Sand Valley camouflage hat and the Head Professional (I think Casey Reamer) said he saved these for members at Cypress Point who like to hunt and he gave me this. This is one of my most treasured pieces of merch.
