O2 price hike on a price hike update! I complained to @Ofcom that O2 was telling people when they were leaving airtime plans they "had to pay the handset in full" which is terrible, confusing phrasing and sounds like you can't continue paying by the month (you can!) I'm pleased

Please share the post below, there are up to 15m O2 customers in the UK, they need to understand what's happening (& all on mobile and broadband contracts need to worry about this trend)
O2 price rise feels like a mockery of Ofcom’s consumer protection! O2 has announced that from April 2026, mobile customers will see their monthly bills rise by MORE THAN IT TOLD THEM, £30 a year – up 40% from the £21.60 annual increase previously written into their contracts.

Thanks @JasonReel12 I do hope and expect @Google to find a fix instead of us finding a way around the problem. Did you return your phone to the current date after? So many questions 😁 I'll give it a go tonight
@christsounis @Google I fixed my gen2 issue by changing the date on my Android phone to March 8th, 2025 (before certificate failure) .. I rebooted phone.. Opened Google Home and now it allowed me to re-setup my ChromeCast to another name.. The ChromeCast updated a bit and now casting works again
