Saw someone said I had a RAT from AUR. the official google-chrome package installs a binary named "google-chrome-stable". but that isn't the AUR pacakge!.Also, the AUR removed the RAT package being referred to in a lot of videos on youtube.

Theo is getting a lot of crap for making fun of VLC. but I just want to say I made fun of how shitty it was on Linux in 2020! Celluloid, MPV, SMPlayer are still my favorites to use INSTEAD of VLC!.
This is my day to day experience trying to use VLC. Constant lock ups, freezes, playback issues, color problems. Watch to the end to see IINA chew right through the same footage. Both "powered by ffmpeg", btw

Found another game that plays better in Linux. "Lord of the Rings Online".Since proton 10.1 it has a substantial performance increase. This 18 year old game play terrible on Win11 now, but on Linux it plays much smoother!.

I didn't make a #stopkillinggames video but here is my quick take. In the 90s and 2000s we bought the game and owned it. With Steam and other platforms we became OK with not owning games, but licensing them. The question is simple. Do you want to own the game or rent it?.
